LADY CENTURIONS WOMEN'S SOCCER
The Program
The women's soccer program started in 2008 as a club team, varsity in 2009 and has been on the rise ever since. On the field, each year they have multiple all-region players and in 2017, they also started to compete in the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (of Region XIX in NJCAA) and won their first championship. 2023 marked the first season in the Eastern States Athletic Conference (of the USCAA). Numerous players have gone on to continue their playing careers at 4-year institutions.
Basic Eligibility
Eligibility consists of the potential student-athlete having 1.) a valid physical (within the last 12 months), 2.) health insurance coverage (short term is available), 3.) being a full-time student (12 credits) during semester the season is played and 4.) your grades at Bucks and any other college analyzed by the athletic department (GPA varies on situations). A THIRD SEASON OF ELIGIBILITY NOW MAY BE PLAYED AT BUCKS.
* After you compete one season, student-athletes must pass 24 credits the previous academic year (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) to be eligible for the following season.
Orientation
Mandatory orientation will be held in the Linksz Pavilion for the fall with date to be determined (late August). Make sure you complete the student-athlete checklist and have your Eligibility Packet. An up to date physical is required before trying out.
Tryouts
Preseason/Tryouts will be held starting on August 14th (5:30PM). Captain's practices are held throughout the summer run by the team for incoming, alumni and current members (Tues & Thur at 6PM).
In-season Schedule:
Practices-during the week are at 4:30PM (daily)
Games-NORMALLY are on Saturdays (12:00PM) but there are a few weekday games which normally start at 3:30PM.
* Do not schedule classes ending after 3:30PM on weekdays.
Off-season Schedule:
The team will have a limited spring schedule which includes a few scrimmages and weighttraining.
