Lady Centurions Blast Blue Jays

JENKINTOWN, Pa.- The Bucks Women's Soccer team traveled to Manor College Thursday afternoon. Goals came early and often as Sophomore Brooklynn Smith (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) netted five on the day bringing her total to 16 on the season tying her record from a season ago for most goals in a season. Smith's first goal got things started for the Lady Centurions as Kailie Mitchell (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) assisted. Freshman Sara Huntley-Jones (Langhorne, PA) put Bucks up 2-0; credit her assist to Smith. Neshaminy grad Smith would score the next two for Bucks one assisted by Huntley-Jones and the other unassisted. Huntley-Jones would next feed Teresa Yeager (Levittown, PA/Bucks County Tech) for a score giving the Lady Centurions a comfortable 5-0 lead. Manor would answer back before the half scoring two of their own by Dominique Calio and Erica Forman. With a 5-2 lead at half Bucks came out in the second and continued dominance. Yeager would score the team's sixth off an assist by Smith. Jamie Apple (Newtown, PA/Council Rock North) would score her first of the game with an assist coming from Yeager. Sophomore Jenna Bertoti (Lansdale, PA/North Penn) would score two; both assisted by Apple. Later Smith would add another two goals assited by Mitchell and unassisted respectively. Mitchell would add her own with an assist by Apple and finally Yeager would score the contest's final goal assisted by Macy Moors (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury). Holly Bowser (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) made 5 saves securing the victory for Bucks. Final score Manor 2, Bucks 13. 

Manor drops to 0-2 overall. 

Bucks moves to 3-3 overall, 2-1 in the region and 2-0 in the conference.
