Women's Soccer Tops Montgomery County

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Lady Centurions battled EPAC (Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference) foe Montgomery County Community College on Thursday. Five minutes into the match Sophomore Brooklynn Smith (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) put Bucks on the board scoring her 3rd goal on the season with an assist from Jamie Apple (Newtown, PA/Council Rock North). Apple would add a goal of her own at the 11 minute mark assisted by Smith. Up 2-0 Smith would net another off an assist from Freshman Meghan Woulfe (Quakertown, PA  Quakertown). Under 14 minutes to go in the first half the Lady Centurions would score again with Smith's third of the game with the assist coming from Teresea Yeager (Levittown,PA/Bucks County Tech). The second half would see the Lady Centurions score a flurry of goals, Antonia Press (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) would score a pair of her own as Sara Huntley-Jones (Langhorne, PA), Jenna Bertoti (Lansdale, PA/North Penn) and Macy Moors (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) would all score their firsts of the season. Apple would score her second of the game late in the half and Smith would add 3 more of her own totaling six this game. Smith now holds the Career Record for goals scored in Women's Soccer at Bucks County Community College with 24, Jessica Williams ('12) previously held the record after the 2011-12 seasons at 23. 

Montgomery drops to 0-1 overall. 

Bucks improves to 1-2 overall, 1-1 in the region and 1-0 in the conference.
