Women's Soccer Battles Through Tough Loss to Morris

RANDOLPH, NJ.- The Lady Centurions kicked off their 2016 campaign on the road at County College of Morris. The Lady Titans 2015 season ended in a heartbreaking 1-0 loss in the DI Region XIX Semifinals. This time it was heartbreak for Bucks as Morris delivered the 1-0 stunner. A defensive struggle to say the least the Lady Centurions matched well with Morris and kept the game within reach through out. A strong defensive effort by Central Defender Gabby Torres who headed the ball off the goal line in the first half to keep the Titans off the board. Morris would eventually find the back of the net with 6:23 to go in the first half. Goalkeeper Holly Bowser remained focused and stood on her head all game to keep the deficit at one. After making adjustments for the second half Bucks kept pressuring Morris but to no avail in finding the tying goal.

Morris improves to 1-0-0.

Bucks falls to 0-1-0.

The Lady Centurions will have their home opener Wednesday September 7th as they host Mercer County Community College at 3:30 pm.
