Women's Soccer Scores First Victory

NEWTOWN, PA.- Bucks Women's Soccer program achieved it's first victory of the season under new Head Coach Matt Giordano. Northampton took the 1-0 advantage 10 minutes into the first half with a goal by the quick footed Laura Sarria. In a half that saw both teams handle the ball well on the opposing team's side the Lady Centurions took the 2-1 lead off goals from Jessika Beletzuy assisted by Alexa Moors and Alexa Moors on a breakaway pass from Naujy Serrano. Laura Sarria evened the score early for the Lady Spartans at the 48 minute mark in the second. It wasn't until the 74 minute mark that Bucks responded with a Jenna Ferri goal assisted by Gabrielle Hunter. From there the Lady Centurions added on the closing goals by Gabrielle Hunter assisted by Courtney Seidel and Jessika Beletzuy assisted by Jenna Ferri assuring the 5-2 victory over Northampton. 

Northampton drops to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the EPAC. 

The Lady Centurions improve to 1-4 overall and 1-0 in the EPAC. 

Bucks travels to Montgomery County Community College on Thursday September 17th for a 3:30 kickoff.
