Women’s Basketball Slow Start Costly against Bergen

NEWTOWN, PA. - The Bucks women's basketball slow start was costly as they lost to visiting Bergen Community College by a score of 61-28 at Centurion gymnasium on Thurday evening.

The Centurions fell behind early only scoring 4 points in the first quarter of the game against the visiting Bulldogs. Bergen ended up making 9 three pointers in the game. Martina Fedor (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) lead the team in scoring and rebounding with 11 and 10 respectively. Caramia Delucia (Quakertown, PA/Pocono Mt West) added 8 points, Emlyn Robles (Tullytown, PA/Pennsbury) scored 6 pluas Kalypso Braynen (Kenneth City, FL/Dixie Hollins) and Hannah Hermanovich also chipped in for the scoring. Jess Kepner (Pipersville, PA/Central Bucks East) added 8 boards for the game. 

The loss drops the Centurions to a 1-9 overall record while the Bulldogs improved to 2-10 overall.

The Centurions are back in action on Tuesday, February 6th when they host a NJCAA, Region XIX school, Salem County College with tip-off scheduled for 5:00pm.
