Women’s Basketball Show Progress in Loss

NEWTOWN, PA. - The Bucks women's basketball showed progress but was not enough to overcome ESAC opponent, Christendom College, as they lost by a score of 99-22 at the Centurion gymnasium.

Bucks improved their scoring from the previous contest led by freshman, Martina Fedor (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) scoring 13 points to go along with her 4 rebounds. Sophomore, Kalypso Braynen (Kennet City, FL/Dixie Hollins) added 6 points, 2 blocks and Emily Gilmore (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) put up 3 points for the Centurions for the game.

The loss drops the Centurions to a 1-7 overall record, 0-2 in the ESAC while Crusaders improve to 9-1 overall, 2-0 in the ESAC.

The Centurions are back in action on Thursday, January 18th when they travel to an ESAC opponent, Manor College with tip-off scheduled for 5:30pm. This will be double header with the men's team.
