NEWTOWN, Pa. – Top 25 ranked, Lackawanna College beat Bucks Women 39-98 on Tuesday evening.

The Centurions put up 39 points against one of top teams in country. Unfortunately, the vistors proved why they were ranked so high. Bucks were paced by sophomore guard, Cassie Tavormina (Moorestown, NJ/Doane Academy) who scored 20 points, shooting 6 for 13 and also grabbed 3 boards, 2 steals and 2 assists.

"The ladies are playing really hard," commented interim coach, Danielle Walter, "even though it is not showing in the win column but we have improved a lot the past few weeks."

Bucks falls to 2-13 overall and 0-12 in Region XIX.

Lackawanna improves to 18-3 overall and 9-1 in Region XIX.

Next up the Centurions host Montgomery County Community College on Thursday, February 13th at 7:00PM.
