Much Improved Bucks falls to Morris

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Women's Basketball slow 3rd quarter costly as they fall to County College of Morris by a score of 47-62 on Thursday evening in Region XIX action.

Bucks and Morris played the rematch just 9 days after Morris defeated Bucks by 37 points in the first game. The game had a different feel as both team went back and forth exchanging leads with the Centurions up at half 29-28. The third quarter the home team went ice cold from the field missing shots and were outscored by 15.  Bucks applied some pressure in the forth and got back on track but could not cut into the deficit.

Freshman guard, Anna Dean (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) paced Bucks with 9 points and 6 rebounds, sophomore forward, Korin Bradley (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) added 4 points and a team high 14 rebounds while sophomore guard, Cassie Tavormina (Morristown, NJ/Doane Academy) freshman guard Kamiah Caraway (Morrisville, PA/Morrisville) both scored 7 apiece. Morris improves to 5-12 overall and 3-9 in Region XIX.

Next up the Centurions host Lackawanna College on Tuesday, February 4th at 5:00PM.
