Baseball: Take Victory in Pitchers Duel

Hackensack, NJ: Both teams were strong on the mound Sunday, but the Cenurions defeated Sussex County Community College Skylanders 2-1. Centurions pitchers allowed just four hits.

Steve Brady led Bucks to victory on the pitcher's mound. He allowed four hits and one run over four innings, striking out five. Jorden Sesar threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Sesar recorded the last six outs to earn the save. The offense collected nine hits. Ed Parry, Josh Mcgee, and Cole Nehring each collected multiple hits. Parry went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead in hits.

Sussex County Community College Skylanders was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. #11 made the most plays with six.

The Centurions are now 1-1.

The Centurions will travel to Clarks Summit University on Saturday, February 29th for a 12 noon first pitch in the double header.
