CENTURIONS BASEBALL
The Program
The baseball program was established in 1970.
Basic Eligibility
Eligibility consists of the potential student-athlete having 1) a valid sports physical (within the last 12 months), 2. health insurance coverage (short term is available), 3.) being a full-time student (12 credits) during the semester the season is played and 4.) your grades at Bucks and other colleges analyzed by the athletic department (GPA varies on situations). A THIRD SEASON OF ELIGIBILITY NOW MAY BE PLAYED AT BUCKS. In 2021 Centurions Athletics changed its national affiliation and joined the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and the Eastern States Athletic Conferernce (ESAC).
Orientation
Each varsity program is required to participate in a student-athlete orientation. Each prospective and returing student-athlete is expected to attend.
Tryouts
Baseball holds fall ball activities in September and October,. Tryouts are held early September but main season starts in March. A spring pre-season tryout period is also offered.
In-season Schedule:
Practices-during the week are at 4:00PM (Monday-Thursday)
Games-NORMALLY are on Tuesdays, Thursdays (at 3:30PM) and Saturdays (at 12PM)
* Do not schedule classes ending after 3:15PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and 1:30PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays.
* Team is planning on a spring break trip and will be fundraising for it.
Off-season Schedule:
In the fall, the baseball team will practice starting in mid September with games starting in October on weekends.
