Trailblazers Route Centurions in Extra Innings

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Bucks baseball team hosted Luzerne County Community College on Thursday March 30th.Sophomore Ryan Tomao would get the start for the Centurions and would go five scoreless innings after allowing two. It would not be until the 7th inning when Luzerne would bring across two more taking a 4-0 advantage. The lead was short lived however as Bucks brought in four of their own off the bats of Gilbert Brito, Justin Holz and Tyler Watto. Both teams would remain tied through the 8th and 9th innings sending the game into extras. In the top half of the 10th the Trailblazers would score five runs taking a 9-4 lead and putting pressure on Bucks to deliver in the bottom half. Unfortunately the Centurions were only able to muster another run. Final score Luzerne 9, Bucks 5. 

Luzerne improves to 2-4 overall, 1-4 in the region and 1-0 in the conference. 

Bucks falls to 1-3 overall, 1-2 in the region and 0-1 in the conference. 

The Centurions return to action on Monday, April 3rd as they host a make-up game against Northampton Community College at 3:30 pm.
