NEWTOWN, Pa.- Volleyball competed against the region's top team, Northampton Community College and lost 3-1 (17-25, 9-25, 25-18, 18-25) on Tuesday evening in a Region XIX match up.

It was an intense matchup and after only scoring 9 points in the second set, the match looked over but Bucks rallied to take the third set 25-18 before falling in the fourth.

"The girls played with heart today" commented head coach Stephanie Recklau, "Even though we didn't win, we showed that we can compete with the best".

Northampton improves to 12-5 overall and 6-0 in Region XIX.

Bucks falls to 10-8 overall and 9-7 in Region XIX.

Next up the Lady Centurions travel to play the County College of Morris on Thursday, October 11th at 7:00 pm.
