Crouthamel Scores Five in Rout of Blue Jays

JENKINTOWN, Pa.- The Women's soccer team traveled to Manor College on Thursday. 

Sophomore Haleigh Kaufmann (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) would get things started scoring five minutes into the first half and giving the Lady Centurions the 1-0 advantage. Minutes later however Manor's Dominique Cailo would even the score on a direct kick. Sara Huntley-Jones (Langhorne, PA) would find Katie Crouthamel (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) for her first of five goals recapturing the lead 2-1. Crouthamel would assist Kailie Mitchell (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) with her first score in the 19th minute and her first of four goals on the day. Teresa Yeager (Levittown, PA/Bucks County Tech) would fire her first goal of the contest at the 32nd minute off an assist by Mitchell. Freshman Melanie Paladino (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) would score on a penalty kick and Crouthamel would score her fourth goal to end the half with an assist by Masie Jericho (Jamison, PA/Central Bucks West). 

The second half would be more of the Mitchell and Crouthamel show as they would go on to score their fourth and fifth goals respectively. Jillian East ( Levittown, PA/Truman) would score at the 77th minute mark and Paladino would find the net for a second time to wrap up scoring for the Lady Centurions at 14. Final score Manor 1, Bucks 14. 

Manor falls to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the region and conference. 

Bucks improves to 5-1 overall, 3-1 in the region and 2-0 in the conference.
