Women's Soccer Fall to the Jersey Blues

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Lady Centurions had a strong showing against the 4th ranked team in the country, Brookdale Community College but fell 6-1 on Saturday, October 13th. 

The contest was tight the entire first half but Brookdale managed to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. The second half gave new life for Bucks as they pushed forward and sophomore Kailie Mitchell (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) scored her 20th goal of the season to the team to within a single goal. As the Centurions pushed forward, Brookdale took advantage of the the open play and scored 4 more times to seal the victory. Starting freshman defender, Camila Meza (Philadelphia, PA) had double duty as she had to step in to play goalkeeper for the second half because of injury.

Final Score: Brookdale 6, Bucks 1

Brookdale improves to 14-0 overall and 9-0 in the region. 

Bucks falls to 11-3 overall, 8-3 in the region.

Up next Bucks travels to Montgomery County Community College for their regular season finale on Tuesday, October 16th at 3:30 pm.
