Lady Centurions Fall to Camden in Season Opener

BLACKWOOD, NJ.- The Lady Centurions first season back since 1998 had a rocky start as they traveled to Camden County College on Thursday. In the first game of the doubleheader Camden would get out to an early 6-0 advantage but Bucks would fight back to score runs in both the second and fourth innings. It would not be enough though as the Cougars would secure the win scoring 10 more runs making it a 16-2 advantage and a mercy rule victory. In game two Camden again would go up 16-0 after 3 innings after that the Lady Centurions would pitch 3 scoreless innings. 

Camden improves to 7-10 overall and 6-0 in the region. 

Bucks falls to 0-2 overall. 

The Lady Centurions will travel to Northampton Community College for their first EPAC game of the season on Tuesday, March 28th, at 3:30 pm.
