Ritts Propels Men's Soccer

NEWTOWN, PA.- Bucks Men's Soccer defeated Harrisburg Area Community College on Saturday, October 6th by a score of 6-2.

The Centurions finished a four game week with a victory over Harrisburg. Freshman defender, Anthony Ritts (Newtown, PA/Council Rock South) had a stellar performance with 3 goals on three shots. Roberto Montero (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem), Salvatore Ficarotta (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) and Quaadir Palmer (Trenton, NJ/Notre Dame) each added a goal. Bucks opened up the scoring just three minutes into the contest when Ritts connected on a Mohammed Abdul (Philadelphia, PA/Swenson) corner kick. "Our midfield got our team going with some nice passing" stated head coach Burroughs, "I give Harrisburg a lot of credit, they worked the entire game and gave us problems." Kyle Davis (Levittown, PA/School Lane Charter) got the win in goal while making 5 saves on the afternoon.

Final score Harrisburg 2, Bucks 6.

Harrisburg drops to 0-8 overall and 0-7 in the EPAC.

Bucks improves to 9-4 overall and 7-0 in the EPAC. 

Up next the Centurions travel to face EPAC foe, Northampton Community College on Tuesday, October 9th at 3:30 pm.
