Bucks Can't Hold Off 8th Ranked Brookdale

LINCROFT, NJ.- Men's Soccer fell to the 8th ranked team in the country, Brookdale Community College on Thursday, October 4th by a score of 3-1.

The Centurions playing their 3rd game in 5 days battled Brookdale for the entire game. The first half was back and forth until Joe Brown (Hulmeville, PA/Neshaminy) found a streaking Chris Clark (Morrisville, PA/Pennsbury) to put the Centurions ahead. The second half, Brookdale came on with a fury that had the visitors on their heels. Jersey Blues found the back of the net 3 times before Bucks caught their breath. Bucks pushed forward and created many chances but could not cut into the lead. "The guys worked very hard and are gaining confidence each game" remarked Coach Burroughs, "Playing the best teams in the country is making us better." Freshman goalkeeper, Jorge Ramirez (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) stopped 9 shots in the defeat.

Final score Brookdale 3, Bucks 1. 

Brookdale improves to 9-2-1 overall and 7-0-1 in Region XIX.

Bucks falls to 8-4 overall and 6-4 in the Region XIX.
