Centurions Win Conference Championship

NEWTOWN, Pa.- Bucks Men's Soccer clinched the EPAC championship with their 4-1 victory over Montgomery County Community College on Tuesday, October 16th.

The Centurions took control 15 minutes into the contest as freshman Joe Brown (Hulmeville, PA/Neshaminy) finished a pass by Roberto Montero (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem). Freshman Badr Fask (Bristol, PA/Harry Truman) finsihed a through ball by Mohammed Abdul (Philadlephia, PA/Swenson) to give the host a 2-0 halftime lead. Montgomery close the gap to 2-1 before sophomore Quaadir Palmer (Trenton, NJ/Notre Dame) put the game out of reach and Salvatore Ficarotta (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) converted a pass from fellow freshman Dylan Molina (Benslalem, PA/Bensalem) to give Bucks the conference title. "It took the entire team to win the conference, everyone has helped along the way" commented head coach Justin Burroughs, "It was nice to seal the championship in front of our family, friends and supporters."

Final score Montgomery 1, Bucks 4.

Montgomery drops to 10-5 overall and 7-3 in the EPAC.

Bucks improves to 12-4 overall and a perfect 9-0 in the EPAC. 

Up next the Centurions, they wait for their seed in the regional tournament to find out their next opponent.
