Centurions Mount Comeback on Spartans

BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Men's soccer team traveled to Northampton Community College on Tuesday. Spartan Andrew Tinna would get things started scoring off an assist from Tyler Eichelbaum. Up 1-0 Tinna would tickle the twine once again ten minutes later to increase the Northampton advantage. 

In a tale of two halves the Centurions played hard to cover the deficit. Sophomore Captain Derek Czerniak (Yardley, PA/Notre Dame) would score unassisted minutes into the second half cutting the Spartans lead to one. Centurion Howard Haas (Warminster, PA/Milton Hershey) would tie the game in the 66th minute crediting the assist to Igor Lupisella (New Hope, PA/New Hope-Solebury). Bucks would not settle for overtime as Ilia Borisov (Philadelphia, PA/George Washington) scored unassisted with a little over a minute remaining in the contest. Keeper Josiah Thompson (Feasterville, PA/Clavary Christian Academy) would make 11 saves on 13 shots faced. Final score Northampton 2, Bucks 3. 

Northampton drops to 2-2-1 overall. 

Bucks improves to 5-3 overall, 4-2 in the region and 3-1 in the conference.
