Men's Soccer Busts Phantoms

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Centurion Men's Soccer team hosted Delaware County Community College Tuesday afternoon. After a scoreless first half Bucks would put one on the board ten minutes into the second as Joseph Berry (Warrington,PA/Central Bucks South) scored off a corner kick assisted by Derek Czerniak (Yardley, PA/Notre Dame). Up 1-0 Berry would find the net again for his second goal off a Willem McCullough (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) assist giving the Centurions the 2-0 advantage. Sophomore Ilia Borisov (Philadelphia, PA/George Washington) would score at the 67 minute mark assist credited to Berry. With one needed for a hat trick Berry would fire one past the Phantom defender off a Mohammed Abdul (Philadelphia, PA/Swenson) pass. With less than 20 minutes left in the contest the Centurions were confident with a large lead only to see it cut in half with two Delaware goals in less than 3 minutes apart  by Juan Saravia and Shamour Young making it a 4-2 game. Not nearly a minute from checking into the game Cole Cleaver (Langhorne, PA/Bucks County Tech) would score the fifth goal unassisted assuring a Centurions victory. Bucks Goalkeeper Josiah Thompson (Feasterville,PA/Calvary Christian Academy) finished the day with 11 saves. Final score Delaware 2, Bucks 5. 

Delaware drops to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference. 

Bucks improves to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
