Men's Soccer Breaks Down Williamson

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Men's Soccer team hosted the Mechanics of Williamson Trade Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match. Derek Czerniak would put the Centurions on the board first with an early goal assisted by Victor Molina. Williamson answered nearly a minute later with an equalizer of their own. Czerniak found the net yet again off another Molina assist to take the lead back 2-1 halfway through the first half. Towards the end of the half Daniel Merritt booted in his 12th on the season off a Molina assist which puts him currently at second in the nation in goals scored. Bucks took the 3-1 advantage into the break. The second half was a more balanced half as the Centurions scored the insurance goal at the 66 minute mark off a Mark Jurewicz shot assisted by Joseph Essig

Williamson falls to 4-3 overall. 

Bucks improves to 8-3 overall. 

The Centurions return to action on Tuesday September 27th as they host Ocean County College in a Region XIX interconference match set for 4:00 pm.
