Centurions and Colts end in a Draw

EDISON, NJ. – Bucks battled 110 minutes against Middlesex County College that ended in a 2-2 tie after 2 overtimes on Thursday afternoon.

The Centurions fought through tough conditions of rain and a damp field to end an intense game. Middlesex got on the scored first when the ball skipped off defender, George Lo's leg that led to a break away goal. The 20th minute saw a Rui Raimundo pass found Reynaldo Bonilla streaking through the middle and the forward to equalize the game. Early in the second half, freshman, Ilia Borisov feed Bonilla for his second goal of the contest. With 8 minutes remaining, Middlesex tied the game when a free kick ricochetted off the wall and found the back of the net.

"We battled today in very unfavorable conditions," remarked Coach Burroughs, "we'll move on, improve and learn from this."

Bucks record in Region XIX is now 4-0-1 and 4-1-1 overall. Middlesex is now 1-0-1 in the Region. The Centurions return to action on Saturday, September 12th when they travel to play the Hawks of Harrisburg Area Community College at 12:00PM in Harrisburg, PA.
