Men's Basketball: Postseason Awards

Newtown, Pa. - The Bucks men's basketball program, were competive the entire season even though their record in the ESAC conference failed to show it. They had major win this season over the eventual conference champions, Christendom College early in the season. Even though they were unable to defend their championship from the year before, the Centurions had one of it's players recognized as the Eastern States Athletic Conferece announced its all-conference team Saturday.

SECOND TEAM ALL-ESAC:

Jaquis Heath (Newtown, PA/La Academia Partnership) sophomore/forward was second in the team in multiple categories. Heath was the Centurions' key conference player as he was near the top in three point percentage (34.8%), points per game (with 17.6 ppg), and in rebounds per game (8.6) which he lead the team in defensive rebounds during conference play (6.3). His second highest scoring game of the season was in the season finale, as he scored 27 against Manor College at their court. Heath top game came against SUNY-ESF as he score 35 points on January 6th.

Heath was also member of the second team All-ESAC for the 2022-23 season.
