Basketball: Review and Postseason Awards

Newtown, Pa. - The Eastern State Athletic Conference have announced the All-Conference team and the Centurions were well represented with four players from the 2022-23 champions on it. Other season ending awards honored Bucks players and the coach.

Award winning Centurions included:

FIRST TEAM ALL-ESAC:

Yasir Rowell (Philadelphia, PA/Simon Gratz) freshman guard who averaged 27.4 points and 5.3 steals per game. "Yabo" was selected as the ESAC Player of Year and an USCAA 2nd team All-American selection

Colin Martin (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) sophomore guard averaged 15.3 points per game while shooting 40.9% from beyond the three point arc.

SECOND TEAM ALL-ESAC:

Joseph Brusha (Abington) sophomore guard averaged 12.3 points per game while also leading the team in minutes at 30 per game. 

Jaquis Heath freshman forward average 11.6 points and 11.6 rebounds per game

Farrad McLaughlin was named the 2022-23 ESAC Men's Basketball Coach of Year.

After sharing the ESAC championship last season, the Men's basketball team won the title outright this past season as the number one seed. They defeated the team that they split with during the conference season. The team set numberous team records and look forward to next season as they plan on playing top competition in the area.
