Centurions Win Third Straight

Newtown, Pa. - The Bucks men's basketball win streak continues as they won their third game in a row by defeating Manor College in a critical Eastern States Athletic Conference matchup by a score of 112-109 on Thursday, January 27th at Blue Jay gymnasium.

The game was close the entire contest with Manor leading at haftime, 58-56. After multiple lead changes in the second half and Manor still leading 80-79, Colin Martin (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) swung the ball to Joseph Brusha (Abington, PA/Abington), who pump faked a defender, returned the pass to Martin who nailed a three pointer with 9:50 remaining in the half to swing the momentum clearing in the Centurions favor. Two plays later, Martin drove by the defender to score the ball. Few seconds later, Martin was fouled and converted two free throws to give Bucks a six point lead. Manor stayed close but Bucks continued to frustrate the host on the defensive end. Martin and Brusha both finished the game with 21 points apiece.
