Robinson Scores 30 in Win

Newtown, Pa. - The Bucks men's basketball team won their second game in row as they defeated Delaware County Community College by a score of 78-65 on Thursday, January 20th at the Penn State Brandywine gymnasium by a score of 78-65.

Playing in his first game of the season, sophomore guard, Shemar Robinson scored 30 points. Robinson led the team shooting 12 for 22 from the field including 6 for 12 while securing 11 rebounds and  3 assists in his Centurions debut. He was one of four Bucks players to score in double figures for the evening. 

Bucks started quickly hitting 8 first half three pointers to take a 16 point lead into halftime with Robinson scoring 21 of his 30 points in the half. In a solid defensive effort, Bucks held the Delaware County to only 31% shooting from the field including 10% from beyond the three point line while the Centurions shot over 40% including 37% from three.

The win improves Bucks to 5-5 overall, while Delaware County drops to 4-8 on the season. 

The Centurions are back in action on Thursday, January 27th when travel to play Manor College in a critical Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference match up with tip-off scheduled for 6:00pm.
