Centurions Take Out the Broom Against Delaware Tech

 

Bucks (27-10) registered an impressive double header sweep over a good Delaware Tech (27-15) as the host Centurions marched to their fourth straight victory.

 

In game one, BCCC survived and 8-run third inning by the visitors to rally for a 13-9 victory.

 

The offense was fueled by the big bats of Dalton Turner (Neshaminy) and Felix Galarza (Donald M Payne Tech).  Turner collected four hits and scored a pair of runs for the winners, while Galarza was a perfect 3-3 with four RBI.

 

Joshua McGee (Connetguot, NY) had two hits, scored two runs, and drove home two runs.  Cory DiMario (Holy Ghost) scored three runs for BCCC.

 

Dennis Szychulski was the winning pitcher in relief in improve his record to 4-2.  Szychulski pitched four and one-third innings and allowed just one earned run.

 

In game two, the Centurions mercy ruled DTCC in a 12-2 victory.

 

Brian Comer (Independence, NC) sparked the offense going 2-2 at the plate, scored four runs, and had four RBI.  McGee chipped in a pair of RBI.

 

Max Temple (Neshaminy) threw a complete game to earn his second win of the season.  Temple permitted just two earned runs and had four strikeouts over his five innings of work.
