The Bucks County Community College Centurions  swept the Central Penn Knights in an Eastern States Athletic Conference double header.

In game one, BCCC rolled to a 10-0 victory over the Knights in a 5-inning game.  The Centurions scored four runs in the second inning – added three more in the third frame - scored a single run in the fourth inning – and added its final two runs in the fifth frame. 

The hitting attack was sparked by sophomore third baseman Joshua McGee (Long Island NY/Connetguot) who was a perfect 3-3 at the plate with a run scored.  

Freshman Nick Lombardo (Willow Grove/Upper Dublin) and sophomore Cory DeMario (Morrisville/Holy Ghost) each collected two RBI for the winners. 

Sophomores Jordan Sesar (Morrisville/Morrisville) and Ryan Bethel (Levittown/Pennsbury) combined for the shutout.  Sesar earned his third win without a loss this season as he allowed no hits over three innings and had four strikeouts.  Bethel hurled the final two innings and allowed just a single hit.

In game two, BCCC completed the sweep with a 13-2 ESAC victory over Central Penn.

Bethel came back in game two to toss a complete 5-inning game.  Bethel increased his season record to a perfect 4-0 and did not allow and earned run and permitted only a single hit.

The Centurions opened the game with a five run first inning and marched to the victory.

The BCCC offense was fueled by McGee, Dalton Turner (Langhorne/Neshaminy) and Marc Garcia (Coatesville/Coatesville) who collected two RBI each.
