NEWTOWN, Pa.- Bucks Baseball once again splits a double header, this time against EPAC rival Manor College on Sunday. They lost the first game by the score of 18-9 and won the second game 15-9.
In Game one Bucks fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 19-8 loss to Manor College.
Despite the loss, the Centurions did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair.
Bucks scored four runs in the seventh inning. Kenneth Brough (Bensalem, PA/Lincoln) and Justin Ward (Levittown, PA/Pennsbury) each contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Edmund Parry (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) was on the hill for the Centurions. He allowed two hits and six runs over one-third of an inning. Shawn Puskar (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) and Danial McNamee (Southampton, PA/William Tennent) entered the game as relief, throwing five and a third innings and one and one-third innings respectively.
Ward and Brough each racked up multiple hits for Bucks.

In Game two William Uphoff (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Sunday, driving in nine on three hits to lead the Centurions past the Blue Jays 15-9. Uphoff drove in runs on a fielder's choice in the first, a double in the second, a double in the third, and a double in the fourth.
Bucks pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. A double by Uphoff on a 3-0 count would score three runs.
The Centurions tallied four runs in the fourth inning. Bucks's big inning was driven by an error on a ball put in play by Evan Matthews (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) and a double by Uphoff.
Reese Sterling (New Hope, PA/New Hope Solebury) was credited with the victory for the Centurions. He lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out two. Kevin Knapp (Sellersville, PA/Dock Mennonite Academy) threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Bucks collected 12 hits on the day. Uphoff, Noah Ruiz (Warminster, PA/Upper Dublin), and Kenneth Brough (Bensalem, PA/Lincoln) all managed multiple hits for the Centurions.
Manor now stands at 2-4 in conference, 3-7 in the region and 5-15 overall.
Bucks improves to 2-3 in conference, 4-10 in the region and 9-18 overall.
Up next the Centurions travel to play a regional game against Bergen County College on Wednesday, April 17th at 3:30 pm. This was a make-up game from March 23rd.
