Bulldogs Tested by Resilient Centurions

PARAMUS, NJ.- Bucks Baseball lost the lead late in a 6-5 defeat to Bergen on Wednesday. The game was tied at five with Bergen batting in the bottom of the seventh when Bergen's Evan Geisler hit a solo homer.

The Centurions lost despite out-hitting the Bulldogs eight to six.

Freshman Harold Landman (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) was on the mound for Bucks. He surrendered six runs on six hits over eight innings, striking out four.

Sophomore Outfileder Brendan Jordan (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) and Evan Matthews (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) each racked up multiple hits for the Centurions. Jordan led the team with three hits in four at bats.

Bergen improves to 2-5 in the region and 10-8 overall. 

Bucks falls to 4-10 in the region and 9-19 overall.
