Landman Leads Centurions Past Williamson

NEWTOWN, Pa.- Bucks blew out Williamson 13-4 on Thursday.

The Centurions opened up scoring in the second inning. Brendan Jordan (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Bucks scored four runs in the fourth inning. Jordan, Jason Zackowski (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury), Harold Landman (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy), and Shawn Puskar (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) each drove in runs during the inning.

Landman led the Centurions to victory on the hill. He went seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out five. Evan Matthews (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) and Kevin Knapp (Sellersville, PA/Dock Mennonite Academy) entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Edmund Parry (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) hit the lone home run for Bucks in the eight inning.

The Centurions racked up 17 hits on the day. Matthew Bound (Furlong, PA/Central Bucks East), Parry, Landman, William Uphoff (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem), Matthews, and Jordan all collected multiple hits. Bucks stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Landman led the way with three.

Bucks improves to 7-15 overall. 

Up next the Centurions travel to conference rival Manor College on Saturday, April 6th for a noon doubleheader.
