Griffins Snap Centurions Win Streak

LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa.- Bucks watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 17-4 loss to Chestnut Hill on Monday. Chestnut Hill took the lead on an error in the first inning.

The Centurions struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Chestnut Hill, giving up 17 runs.

Bucks tallied three runs in the seventh inning. Batters contributing to the big inning included Edmund Parry (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) and Paul DePompeo (Feasterville, PA/Neshaminy), who both drove in runs.

Justin Ward (Levittown, PA/Pennsbury) was on the pitcher's mound for the Centurions. He went two innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out one. Kevin Knapp (Sellersville, PA/Dock Mennonite Academy), Shawn Puskar (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem), and John Capobianco (Penndel, PA/Neshaminy) each contributed in relief. 

Parry led Bucks with two hits in three at bats.

Bucks falls to 6-15 overall.
