Baseball Spring Trip Recap Day 2

KISSIMMEE, FL.- Monday was a long day for Bucks, falling to Herkimer 21-4 in the first game of the day. 

The Centurions got things moving in the first inning as Noah Andress (Levittown, PA/Conwell-Egan Catholic) drew a walk, scoring one run.

The Generals pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. 

Sophomore Jason Hughes (Warminter, PA/William Tennent) started the game for Bucks. He surrendered three runs on four hits over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one. John Capobianco (Penndel, PA/Neshaminy) and Edmund Parry (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and one inning respectively.

Andress led the Centurions with two hits in two at bats.

In game two the Centurions fell to Generals again, 7-2.

Bucks opened up scoring in the second inning, when Noah Ruiz (Warminster, PA/Upper Dublin) doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Herkimer scored three runs in the fifth inning. 

Stephen Brady (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) was on the mound for the Centurions. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out five. Harold Landman (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) and Edmund Parry (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Evan Matthews (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Bucks in hits. The Centurions didn't commit a single error in the field. Ruiz had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

Bucks falls to 1-11 overall.
