Women's Volleyball: Centurions defeat Colonials

NEWTOWN, PA: The Centurions defeated the Colonials of the Community College of Philadelphia 3-0 with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, and 25-10.

On offense, freshman OH Katrikki Lennon (Levittown, PA/Pennsbury) led the team with 10 service aces. Sophomore MH Jacqueline Schaeffer (Bensalem, PA/Archbishop Ryan) had 7 kills and freshman OH Ysabelle Minschwaner (Pipersville, PA/Central Bucks East) had 6 kills. Defensively, Minschwaner led with 7 digs. Freshman MH/S Marina Gkika (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) had 6 and freshman OH Princess Snorweah (Fairless Hills, PA/Pennsbury) had 5.

As a team, the Centurions had 19 kills, 25 service aces, and 29 digs.

The Centurions move to 7-10 overall and 5-8 Region XIX.

Up Next:

The Centurions will stay at home to play the Roadrunners of Rowan College of South Jersey-Gloucester on Thursday, October 17, 7:00 PM. The Roadrunners are 12-5 overall and 11-2 in the GSAC.
