SCRANTON, PA: The Centurions were defeated by the Falcons of Lackawanna College 1-3 with set scores of 8-25, 12-25, 29-28, and 13-25.

On offense, freshman OH/DS Samantha Pipito (Levittown, PA/Pennsbury) and sophomore MH Jacqueline Schaeffer (Bensalem, PA/Archbishop Ryan) led the Centurions with 5 kills each. Defensively, freshman MH Courtney McGurl (Dublin, PA/Pennridge) led the team with 14 digs and Samantha Pipito contributed 8. Jacqueline Schaeffer led the team with 4 unassisted blocks.

As a team, the Centurions had 19 kills and 48 digs and 6 blocks.

The Centurions are 4-0 overall and 3-7 in Region XIX.

The Centurions are on the road to Nanticoke, PA to play the Trailblazers of Luzerne County Community College on Tuesday, October 1, 6:00 PM. The Trailblazers are 11-5.
