Women's Volleyball: Centurions defeat the Trojans

NEWTOWN, PA: The Centurions defeated the Trojans of Valley Forge Military College 3-1 with set scores of 25-23, 25-9, 22-25, and 25-12.

Freshman OH Ysabelle Minschwaner (Pipersville, PA/Central Bucks East) led the Centurions with 8 kills and freshman OH Katrikki Lennon (Levittowm, PA/Pennsbury) contrubuted 5. Freshman Courtney McGurl (Dublin, PA/Pennridge) led the team with 8 services aces and freshman MH Marina Gkika (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) added 7. Defensively, freshman Princess Snorweah (Fairless Hills, PA/Pennsbury) had 10 digs while Courtnet McGurl added another 9.

As a team, the Centurions had 27 kills, 25 service aces and 38 digs.

The Centurions move to 3-8 overall and 3-7 in Region XIX.

Up Next:

The Centurions are at home Thursday, September 26, 7:00 PM against the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon County College. The Cougars are 4-5.
