Newtown, Pa: In a closely contested matchup on January 16, 2025, Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) narrowly defeated Bucks County Community College with a final score of 63-60 in overtime. The game, held at LCCC, showcased a dramatic comeback and intense competition between the two teams.

The game began with Bucks County taking an early lead, ending the first quarter 14-10. However, both teams struggled offensively in the second quarter, with Bucks County scoring only 8 points and LCCC managing 10, resulting in a halftime score of 22-20 in favor of Bucks County.

The third quarter saw a resurgence from Bucks County, who scored 24 points, but LCCC kept pace with 18 points of their own. Entering the fourth quarter, Bucks County held a narrow lead. However, LCCC mounted a comeback, scoring 18 points to Bucks County's 10, tying the game at the end of regulation and forcing overtime.

In the overtime period, LCCC managed to outscore Bucks County 7-4, securing a hard-fought victory. Key performances from LCCC included Emily Sebastian, who led all scorers with 19 points, and Jacksymerth Martinez, who contributed 15 points and 8 rebounds. Maddy Taylor also made a significant impact off the bench with 12 points and 9 rebounds.

LCCC's shooting percentages were modest, with a field goal percentage of 39.7% and a three-point percentage of 23.1%. Their free throw shooting was a point of concern, as they converted only 40% of their attempts.
