Bucks earns double win over CCP

NEWTOWN, Pa. - The Men's Tennis team defeated the Community College of Philadelphia in two straight games on Tuesday afternoon, to earn their first two wins of the season.

In the first match, which was a make-up from Tuesday, April 14th, Bucks won by a score of 5-0. CCP had only four players for the contest so Bucks received 3 points for forfeited matches.

 

Doubles:

1st doubles – Joshua Zeigen and Moritz Bruenjes won 8-4
2nd doubles - Edward Siger and Thomas Vennochi won 8-2
3rd doubles – Alex Diamond and Kevin Cavalier won by forfiet

In the second match, Bucks won by a score of 7-1 winning all but 1 game in the match.

 

Doubles:

1st doubles – DNP
2nd doubles - Edward Siger and Thomas Vennochi won 2nd Doubles: 8-2
3rd doubles – Alexander Diamond and Kevin Cavalier won by forfeit

Singles:

#1 singles – Joshua Zeigen lost 7-5, 3-6, 15-13
#2 singles – Moritz Bruenjes won 6-1, 6-1
#3 singles – Alex Diamond won 6-0, 6-0
#4 singles - Kevin Cavalier won  6-0, 6-2
#5 singles - Edward Siger won by forfeit
#6 singles - Thomas Vennochi won by forfeit

Bucks returns to action on Friday when they travel to play Williamson Trade School in their final turn up before the regional tournament the following weekend.
