Jose Torres

Coach Jose Torres began playing soccer as a youth in Edgewater Park, NJ and during his high school years played for Burlington City High School, Medford Strikers and Delran FC.  During those years he competed internationally, playing in the Gothia Cup in Sweden and the Dana Cup in Denmark. After attending Penn State University and graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology he found himself back in Burlington County. Over the past 27 years he has been successful coaching at various levels of travel, EDP and high school soccer.  Firmly believing in long term player development, he has developed the Future Stars Youth Program in Edgewater Park.  Currently as Soccer Commissioner for the Edgewater Park Athletic Association he has produced players for the 2022 South Jersey Select team.  In addition, he has coached several All-Conference high school players from the Burlington County Patriot, Liberty and Mid-Atlantic Prep Divisions.  Most recently Jose has served as the High School Summer League Head Coach for the Hun School of Princeton Varsity Boys in 2021 and Burlington City Varsity Boys summer 2022. Coach Torres is excited to join the Bucks Men's staff.
