Men's Soccer: Defeat the Hawks

Harrisburg, PA: Centurions defeat EPAC opponent the Hawks of Harrisburg Area Community College 6-1.

The Centurions came out quickly scoring in 3 minutes with a goal from Christopher Clark's opening goal with an assist from Zachary Shefsky. Within two minutes the Hawks tied the game on a goal by Clovis Kabre. The next ten minutes remained scoreless until Salvatore Ficarotta scored on a pass from Christopher Clark for the go ahead goal. The first half ended with the Centurions up 3-1 with a goal by Edwin Teah.

The Centurions continued to demonstrate their high scoring offense with three more goals in the second half. Salvatore Ficarotta scored at 65:00 on an assist from Kevin Fagan, Vincent Hosephros added another goal and Alessio Conigiliaro scored his first goal of the season to put the Centurions up 6-1.

The Centurions improve to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in EPAC play. The Centurions will return home to face the Spartans of Northampton Community College Tuesday, September 10 for a 3:30 PM start. The Spartans are 1-1.
