Men's Soccer: High powered offense

Edison, NJ: Centurions continue scoring with their second victory in as many matches with a 6-3 win over the Colts of Middlesex County College.

Middlesex CC Colts started the scoring with Nicolas Garralfo hitting the back of the net within 12 minutes of the first half. Garralfo then followed up with his second goal just 8 minutes later. The Centurions found themselves behind for the first 33 minutes until freshman defender Pavio Shemchuk scored the first Centurion goal and his first goal of the season with an assist from forward Edwin Teah. Freshman forward Zachary Shefsky scored 7 minutes later with an assist from Prince Boafo (Ghana). Just 3 minutes later Salvatore Ficarotta (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) scored 43 minutes into the game to put the Centurions up 3-2 before the half.

Ficarotta continued the scoring in the second half with an assist from Christopher Clark (Morrisville/PA/Pennsbury) to put the Bucks up 4-2. The Colts responded with another goal from Nicolas Garralfo to pull within 1 goal. Centurion's midfielder Conor Brady added a goal to pull away 5-3. Ficarotta added the Centurions final goal and his 3rd to put the game out of reach and give the Centurions a 6-3 victory. The Colts drop to 2-2-1.

The Centurions are 2-0 overall and 1-0 in EPAC play. The Centurions will head to Harrisburg Area Community College Saturday, September 7 for a 12 PM start. The HACC Hawks 0-0.
