Centurions Host Shutout

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Bucks Men's Soccer team hosted Manor College on Thursday.  Freshman Eduardo Ordonez-Pena (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) struck first firing in a goal at the 12 minute mark off an assist from Derek Czerniak (Yardley, PA/Notre Dame). The Centurions continued to control the ball as they did throughout the contest and fifteen minutes before half would go up 2-0 on the Blue Jays with an unassisted goal by Ilia Borisov (Philadelphia, PA/George Washington). Czerniak would score his second of the season from an incredible throw in assist from Willem McCullough (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) giving Bucks the 3-0 lead and eventual win. Josiah Thompson (Feasterville, PA/Calvary Christian Academy) faced six shots on goal and made six saves securing the shutout. Final score Bucks 3, Manor 0. 

Manor falls to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the region. 

Bucks improves to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the region. 

Up next the Centurions host Harrisburg Area Community College in the final game of a week long homestand on Saturday, September 16th at 12:00 pm.
