Strong Second Half Propels Centurions Past Cougars

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Men's Soccer team hosted the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College on Tuesday. In a first half of seemingly equal play Bucks struggled to find the goal on 11 of their 12 shots. At the nine minute mark Diego Valdez scored off a Seth Dubinski assist to give the Centurions the one goal advantage. Bucks would take that lead into the half.

In the second half it was Lehigh Carbon who got the scoring going with an equalizer that seemed to be taken almost near midfield. Fifteen minutes into the second however it would be all Bucks from there on out. Everyone got chances and many took advantage as Tyler Andre would score his first of the season assisted by Derek Czerniak to give the Centurions a 2-1 lead. Three minutes later Howard Haas got in on the action firing a goal in off of a Daniel Merritt assist. Haas would return the favor and assist a goal of Merritt's at the 68 minute mark.
