Centurions Golf Qualifies for National Tournament

KENILWORTH, NJ.- The Bucks golf team finished as the runner-up in the Region XIX tournament and have qualified as one of the two teams to represent the region at the NJCAA National Tournament.

The tournament was held over two days at the Galloping Hills Golf Course in Kenilworth, NJ on May 7th and 8th. "We have a great group" commented Head Coach Scott Bradshaw who is in his 16th season, "they have been working really hard for this accomplishment". The sophomores helped lead the way as John Buliga (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) fired a team low 74 on Day 1 and a 72 on day 2 placing him second overall individually with a combined total of 146. Fellow Sophomore Kevin Hilton (Yardley, PA) was instrumental for the team shooting a 78 on Day 1 and an 81 on Day 2 totaling 159 and placing him at 11th overall. Brendan Strenge  (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) carded an 83 both days landing him at 18th overall with a 166 total. Aaron Crosson (Hatfield, PA/Pennridge) shot a 92 and 88 respectively totaling a 180 for both days and Ed Powers (Newtown, PA/North Penn) shot a 91 and 97 totaling a 188 and respectfully rounding out the scoring for the Centurions.

The Centurions will now prepare for the DIII National Tournament to be held in Chautauqua, NY at the Chautauqua Golf Club from June 5th-8th.
