Bucks Golf Remains in 6th after Round Three

CHAUTAUQUA, NY.- Bucks Men's Golf team remains in sixth place after playing their best round of golf all season on day three carding a team total of 322 at the NJCAA DIII National Tournament. 

Vincennes University regained the top spot scoring a team total of 305 in round three. 

On the heels of scoring 330 the previous round and moving into sixth overall the Centurions scratched eight strokes from their game in round three. Brendan Strenge (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) lead the way firing a 77 shaving seven strokes off his score from yesterday. Sophomore John Buliga (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) carded another impressive 79 and remains at 17th overall but now sits at the top of the leaderboard in pars made this tournament at 34 tied with Butler County Community College Golfer Michael Rozzi. Kevin Hilton (Yardley, PA) erased three strokes from his game scoring an 80. Feeshman Aaron Crosson (Hatfield, PA/Pennridge) and Ed Powers (Newtown, PA/North Penn) rounded out the team's scoring with an 86 and 87 respectively. 

Overall Bucks has now accumulated 13 birdies and 119 pars through three rounds and has a 985 three day total team score placing them 18 strokes behind 5th place County College of Morris. 

The fourth and final round begins at 9:00 am on Friday June 9th as Powers tees off from Hole One at 9:32 followed by Crosson at 9:40, Hilton at 9:48, Strenge at 9:56 and Buliga at 10:04.
