Men's Basketball Drops Heartbreaker

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Bucks Basketball needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, were unable to get the victory as they fell to Montgomery by a score of 53-67 on Thursday evening.

The first half was back and forth as the teams traded the lead several times and were deadlocked 26-26 at halftime. The second half the visitors gain the momentum as they got hot shooting 63% from the field compared to Bucks' 40%. The home team were held to just 13% from beyond the arc, way below their 30% average. We won a lot of big games recently and have worked extremely hard but unfortunately, today our shots in the second half didn't fall," commented sophomore captain, Keith Howard.

Freshman guard, Laddis Taylor (Beverly, NJ/Burlington CIT) 12 points, 5 rebounds and Howard (Feasterville, PA/Bensalem) 12 points, 7 rebounds were the leaders for the Centurions while freshman guard, Nasir Williams (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) chipped in 10 points, 3 steals.

The lose drops Bucks' record to 9-12 overall.

Montgomery improves to 21-4 overall record.
